Contact the financial institution that issued your Visa card or MasterCard, to enquire about Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode. You can then create your own password for your Visa or your MasterCard SecureCode that only you know. Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode is a FREE and QUICK service that provides extra protection and security when you shop online.

Each time you make an online purchase at a participating merchant (e.g The Wheelsmart) a pop-up box will appear automatically, you will enter your Verified By Visa or MasterCard SecureCode password in the same way you would enter your PIN at an ATM. Your identity is verified and the purchase is secure and allows your purchase to be completed. If the correct code is not supplied, your card issuer cannot confirm your identity and so the purchase may not go through. This means that only you can use your Visa Card or MasterCard online, giving you the same assurances you have when you use your card in a physical store.
